Does the snake eyes hurt ( pericing also known as the tip)?

heres the deal. well like a month ago iwent to the pericing place to get my snake eys donee & isaw the needle & ijust froze & said icant do this & walked out. iwas so scaredddd! but then iregreted it. iwant it nowww so badly! iheard that using that throat spray thing numbs your tounge & u wont feel it. idkk wat to do iam soo scared. WAT SHOULD IDOO SO IT WONT HURT :'( !
