Will a cr 80 carb work on a yamaha blaster?

see i have a yamaha blaster and my carbs dont work. and my friend got a cr 80 and he has two carb. so we put one on and it fits but idk if it will work and i cant try it yet because i need a new piston so do u think u can tell me if it will work or not so when i nget the piston i well know
