What problems might one have growing plants on a really big spaceship?

You would have to keep the oxygen and CO2 in balance as well as recycling all the nutrients. You would have to keep the humidity, temperature and lighting correct. You also would need to provide water. They would probably use hydroponics so they wouldn't have to deal with all the soil.
