I put my fondant in the fridge and now its a rock HELP?

i have to make my sisters cake i am 15 i made the fondant lastnight and the recipe said cool and dry so i put it in the fridge i came downstairs this morning and it was a rock how do i thaw it or whatever soften it please help?
