Is she moving on? Please help...?

My friend always hangs out with me at recess, lunch, and we even walk home together. She's usually very shy, but over the past few weeks, she's become more and more social. Today, she spent the entire day with a group of popular kids. I couldn't join her because they don't like me, and I don't like one of the people she hangs out with now, because I think she likes him (I like her). After school, her and her friend (not a new friend, they've known each other for years) walked with me. I felt mad, and said I had to go to the library, because I knew they couldn't come (they had to go to her mom's work). We were walking in the same direction for about five minutes, and during that time, she hugged me a few times. I usually let her hug me, but since I was mad, I pushed her away from me. She looked sad, and kept on asking if I was mad. I lied, and said no. I'm afraid she'll leave me for her new friends, even though she said that her friend made her be with them all day. Was I being mean, or was that a normal response?
